Walk This Way

When you walk away from God you necessary walk toward Satan. This is a sentence guaranteed to make any secularist howl. "No, no! Outrageous. Intolerant, ignorant, childish superstition. Satan is mythological religious nonsense!
No one agrees more with the secularists on the non-existence of Satan than the Prince-of-Lies himself - Satan.

Satan depends upon secular certainty of his non-existence.

Those who know God, know differently. God grants knowledge of Himself only to those He will. It can't be learned. It can't be proved. It's a gift given for reasons only God understands.
Those who know God need no proof. Those who don't know God cannot be persuaded. Their world is this world, in which anything that can't be proved is dismissed as nothing but conjecture, and very little can be truly proved.

This leads secularists to believe their personal notions of what's true. More often it leads them into believing what they want to be true.

Satan is happy to oblige them with an endless parade of tantalizing possibilities. "Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste". Satan knows full-well that those who seek sophisticated acceptance and worldly success will be his most eager clients.

Satan presents his temptations as reasonable ideas which well-bred, educated persons will logically believe to be their own.

Some of Satan's best work is done with religious activists who imagine they're improving the Bible by bringing Biblical teachings up-to-date with modern orthodoxy. After all, the ancient people who wrote the texts of the Bible didn't have available the latest sociological theory which is mandatory for inclusive compassionate empathy.

Apparently none of these folks paid much attention to the last words of the last book of the Bible - Revelations: If any man shall take away from the words of this book, God shall take away his part out of the book of life.

Duping the well-meaning gullible, along with
the witless self-indulgent, has worked reliably well since Eve offered the apple to Adam.
Since then - and now more than ever - a growing cadre of fallen souls have willingly pledged themselves
to Satan. They weren't duped. They volunteered.

Those who worship evil historically shrouded themselves in secret clans and covens. Now, they arrogantly brag of their dedication to Satan.
Is the end coming soon?

Hey! Look at this shiny thing I have for you.

            Walk this way.
